Wonderful family memories of our time at the cottage: Boules in the garden, relaxing evenings with a bottle of local wine at hand, walks down to the river and the tastiest, fresh bread and pastries - daily! The cottage is beautifully presented, with everything you need for your stay in France, it's in a great location for day trips to some super places including the beautiful Confolens - do go to the festival if you can!

La Vallee des Singes to see monkeys really close up and Ruffec for some fun on the water to name but a few. Puy du Fou is well worth the detour on your way to or from the cottage too. Looking forward to our next visit! - Abi & Phil

What a house! It's been a fantastic week, lovely area, great views. The most relaxing place I've ever been. Thanks so much for the opportunity to enjoy this lovely place. All the information left about the surrounding area was helpful when deciding what to do. We all recommend the Monkey park, experimenting with various different wines from the local supermarket also a lot of fun! Amazing interior design also. - The Williams Family

We were totally enchanted by your lovely house and the environs. We have looked at the night sky and seen the early morning mist gradually clear over the river. Have eaten and slept well and enjoyed the odd glass of wine!

We have had a splendid holiday and will be really sorry to say goodbye to this corner of France. The house has made us feel at home, the view over the river from our bedroom window has been a joy, the countryside has been a delight and the towns and villages full of interest. Thank you so much. - M & J
Thank you for letting us stay, the house was really nice. I liked the view and especially the brown sofa with dots on. Thanks!  - George, aged 5
We have had a lovely relaxing, 'fattening' holiday. The weather has been beautiful with bright blue skies. So lovely to wake up to quiet, spectacular scenery. We had the first ground frosts in the morning but were very 'snug' in the cottage in front of the roaring fire. - A & M
