La Vallee des Signes
Monkey Valley in Romagne is a lovely day out for the whole family, where you can get much closer to the monkeys than is usual as the animals are not caged except by water.

Le Parc de La Belle
Set in 10 hectares of beautiful valleys on the banks of the river Belle this varied and blooming park offers a wealth of flowers, shrubs, plants in any season. The park has a large play area and a little petting farm for children. There is also a maze made of living bushes. New for 2017: now there are even more fun things to do with the Adventure Game, an exciting trail packed with mysteries to solve and secret rooms along the way!
At nearby Civray there is a recently completed public indoor and outdoor swimming pool, only 17 km from the house. The town also boasts the Romanesque church of St-Nicolas from the 12th Century with a sculptured façade and painted frescos. Local markets are Tuesdays and Fridays.

Boasting five chateaux dominating the Vienne River, and the setting of the Giants of the Sky, a flying bird show with birds from all over the world skimming over you at break neck speed. Also the Velo-rail, a return rail/bike ride on an abandoned railway track.
